Cheese Salmon Loaf

1 pint drained Salmon
1 1/4 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk or cream
1 cup bread or cracker crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt (omit with salted crackers)
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. pepper


Celery Sauce:


2 cups well seasoned white sauce
3/4 cup chopped, cooked celery


Combine all ingredients except celery sauce. After mixing, place in well buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. With rubber spatula, push edges of loaf away from edges slightly before baking. This will aid when inverting loaf onto serving dish. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.
