Baked Salmon with Pesto and Lemon

1 To 1 1/3 lbs salmon fillet
1/8 ts Salt
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/4 c Prepared pesto
6 sl Lemon
Lemon wedges

Place salmon in lightly oiled baking pan. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Spread pesto over salmon. Top with lemon slices. Bake in pre-heated 450-degree oven 12 minutes per inch of thickness. Test for doneness. Serve salmon with lemon wedges.

Makes 4 servings.
