Salmon Pie

4 medium potatoes
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg
1 (15 oz.) can Salmon
Plain bread crumbs
Prepared pastry for double crust pie


Boil 4 potatoes and mash. Add 1 tablespoon onion and egg. Add Salmon. If runny, add a few plain bread crumbs. Pour into pie crust, cover with top crust. Bake at 400 F for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 375 F and bake 30 minutes more. Serve with a basic white sauce of butter, milk, flour, onion and sliced hard-boiled eggs.
