Salmon Or Tuna Tidbits

14 oz. Salmon or Tuna
1 egg
1/2 cup flour
1 heaping tsp. baking powder

Drain Salmon, reserve 1/4 cup liquid. In a mixing bowl, break meat apart. Add flour and beaten egg. Add salt and pepper if desired. Add baking powder to reserved liquid and beat with fork until foamy. Pour into Salmon mixture and stir until blended. Deep fry. Using 2 teaspoons, scoop out mixture with one spoon and push off into grease with the other. Watch closely while cooking. Drain on paper towels.
