Salmon and Peas

1 cup peas or 1 (12 oz.) package frozen peas
1 (1 lb.) can Bumble Bee Salmon, cleaned (use Salmon juice, too)
1 3/4 cups homogenized milk
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
Bit of onion, optional


Mix flour into melted butter. Add salt and pepper. Add milk slowly. Cook until thickened. Add Salmon and juice and peas.


Put in baking dish. Cover with 2 tablespoons bread crumbs. Dot with 1/2 teaspoon butter. Bake until hot and bubbly.
