Tarragon Salmon Steaks

4 Salmon Steaks (6 oz. each)
1 medium size onion, sliced
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh tarragon or 1/2 tsp. leaf tarragon, crumbled
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 Tbsp. fresh lime or lemon juice
Ground white pepper


Arrange Salmon Steaks on heatproof plate. Sprinkle with onion slices, tarragon and parsley. Pour lime juice over all; sprinkle with pepper. Set plate on rack in wide pot or skillet over gently boiling water. Cover pot with tight fitting lid. Steam 9-10 minutes for each inch of thickness just until fish flakes when pierced with fork.
