Lox and Cream Cheese Spread

1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. minced parsley
1 Tbsp. whipping cream
1 (3 oz.) package smoked Salmon
Parsley sprigs or watercress (opt.)
Rye crackers


Cream the first 6 ingredients together. Add more whipping cream if necessary for desired consistency. Chop Salmon and fold into the mixture. Mound into serving bowl. Garnish with parsley or watercress. Serve with rye crackers. This may be prepared the day before serving, covered and refrigerated.
